St Mary de Crypt, Gloucester
Coffee concerts are returning to St Mary de Crypt in 2026 as GLOW Coffee Concerts, offering a welcoming and informal way to enjoy live music in one of Gloucester’s most beautiful historic spaces.
Taking place on Saturday mornings at 11.30am, each concert lasts around 45 minutes to an hour and is designed to be relaxed, accessible and uplifting. Audiences can expect a rich and varied programme, from Renaissance choral music to well-loved modern works, performed by outstanding local and visiting musicians.
The series features performances from Gaudeamus, Suoni Chiari, Christopher Guild, and the Ecclesiastical Insurance Staff Choir, alongside special seasonal concerts including a summer programme, a Remembrance performance of Fauré’s Requiem, and a festive Christmas concert.
Entry is free, with donations invited to support the concerts and the ongoing life of St Mary de Crypt.
The GLOW Coffee Concerts are generously sponsored by Ecclesiastical, whose support helps make high-quality live music accessible to all.
