Songs for Springtime

Gaudeamus

Saturday 11 April, 11.30am

St Mary de Crypt, Gloucester

We’re delighted to begin our 2026 GLOW Coffee Concert series with Songs for Springtime, performed by Gaudeamus Vocal Consort.

This programme spans eight centuries of song, from early English sacred music and the Tudor court through to English part song and more recent close harmony. It is shaped around contrast and colour, with moments of stillness, warmth and reflection.

Music includes works by Byrd, Tallis and Campion alongside arrangements of familiar songs and lighter repertoire.

Admission is free, with donations invited to support the continuation of the series and the work of St Mary de Crypt.

The concert series is made possible by the generous support of Ecclesiastical Insurance.

We look forward to seeing you.
