Songs for Springtime – Gaudeamus

Friday 8 May, 7.30pm

Much Birch Church, Hereford, HR2 8HT

An evening of choral music from Byrd to Billy Joel

Gaudeamus return to Much Birch Church with a programme of choral music for springtime. Spanning eight centuries, the concert begins with William Byrd and the music of the Tudor court, moves through romantic part song and twentieth century close harmony, and ends with arrangements of well known modern songs including music by Billy Joel.

Along the way there are moments of reflection, warmth and the occasional surprise, all in the beautiful setting of Much Birch Church.

The concert will last about an hour. Admission is free and donations are welcome. Refreshments will be served afterwards.
