Join Gaudeamus for a relaxed and uplifting Christmas Coffee Concert at St Mary de Crypt, Gloucester, as part of the much loved Creative Field Coffee Concert series.

This festive programme brings together traditional carols, choral favourites and seasonal classics, ranging from medieval and Victorian repertoire to much loved twentieth century songs. Expect moments of quiet reflection alongside joyful, familiar Christmas melodies, all performed in the welcoming acoustic of this historic church.

The concert includes music such as Gabriel’s Message, Bethlehem Down, Coventry Carol, Gaudete, and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, alongside lighter moments including White Christmas and Rudolph. The programme is designed to feel inclusive, unhurried and warmly seasonal, perfect for the final weekend before Christmas.

Gaudeamus is joined by Susan Honeywill at the piano.

Refreshments will be available from 10.15am, with the concert beginning at 11.30am. Entry is free, with donations invited to support the church and performers.

A gentle, festive start to the Christmas weekend.
