Creative Field was founded in 2016 as an umbrella for our various musical and cultural activities. Under this umbrella sit choirs, singers, musicians, artists and writers.
We are active in the local area as singing teachers and vocal animateurs. We co-run the City of Gloucester Community Choir and Vocality Youth Choir, and have recently formed Gaudeamus, a professional vocal ensemble.
We are both professional soloists and frequently perform together as a soprano and countertenor duo.
~ Vicki and Sebastian Field
Singing
Sebastian and Vicki are both professional singers, appearing regularly as soloists in recital and on the concert platform.
Together, they have given several duo recitals, working with piano and lute, in repertoire ranging from the Elizabethan to modern musicals.
Vicki Field
Vicki Field is a soprano with a reputation in the Gloucestershire area and beyond, for possessing a clear and attractive tone. As a soloist she specialises in the baroque repertoire, and she is also in demand as a consort and choral singer. She lives in Gloucester, where she is well-known as a singer, singing teacher and choral animateur.
Sebastian Field
Sebastian Field is a countertenor who is active across the West Country and beyond as an interpreter of baroque music, a recitalist, and as a public speaker. He lives and works in Gloucester where he teaches singing in several local schools, sings in the Cathedral Choir, and was a City Councillor for nine years.
Mayor and Mayoress
We were honoured to be the Mayor and Mayoress of Gloucester for the 2015/16 civic year. During our year we accomplished a great deal, including attending over 510 events.
